STOCKTON, CA - Pacific completed a day of sweeps to kick off the 2017 NIVC. Playing in front of the the Tiger faithful, Pacific did not disappoint, cruising to victory, 3-0, advancing to Round 2. The Tigers are now 10-0 all-time against Boise State. Eight aces from the Tigers catapulted them into the next round. One of those aces came from Emily Baptista, who also finished with a team-high 10 kills and eight digs. Ashlyn Fleming paced the team in aces with four. The duo of Andie Shelton (15) and Hanne De Schrijver (19) combined for 34 for of the team's 41 assists throughout the evening. Despite the loss, Sierra Nobley led all attackers with 13 kills and also came up with seven digs. The Broncos came away with three blocks as a team. Pacific will face the Anteaters of UC Irvine in Round 2 on Wednesday, November 29, at 10 p.m. ET. |
