LARAMIE, WY – Wyoming had a terrific effort offensively, hitting .357 overall and getting 17 kills from Tara Traphagan to move past Round 1 of the 2019 NIVC. The Cowgirls (22-8) will face Weber State in Round 2; the match is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday. The Demons end their season with a record of 20-13. Mackenzie Coates had 33 assists for Wyoming, and Madi Fields added 17 digs. Northwestern State got 13 kills from Alexis Warren, and Hannah Brister closed with 10 kills. Cayman Sutton added 24 assists. |
