Round One Recaps - Temple vs. Campbell

Morgantown, WV - Temple’s regular season consistency carried over into the first round of the 2017 NIVC. The Owls cruised to victory, 3-0, over Campbell solidifying its place in Round 2 of the postseason tournament.

Iva Deak came away with a team-high 10 kills and four blocks to lead the way for the Owls. Katerina Papazoglou and Izzy Rapacz each contributed to with seven kills as well. As a team, Temple hit .316 and tallied 13 total blocks, 11 more than the Camels.

Hannah Schneggenburger led the charge for Campbell, combining for eight kills and the highest kill percentage on the team (.615).

Temple will move on to face the winner between West Virginia and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The Round 2 matchup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, at 6 p.m. ET.
